A stock library is a fixed set. The search box is only as good as what somebody already recorded and tagged, and the tags are written by whoever uploaded the file — which is why searching 'heavy door' returns a hundred results and none of them is the door in your head.

Anywhere from 1 to 30 seconds. You set the length before generating. Short impacts are usually best at 1–3 seconds; ambience beds work better at 10 seconds or more.
Do I need to write a long, detailed prompt?
No. Short prompts are expanded automatically before they reach the model, so 'punjabi dhol' or 'glass breaking' is enough. If you do write detail, that detail is respected rather than rewritten.
